2023 LATA MEMBERSHIP

To become a member please complete the TWO steps below :

**Skip Step 1...If you already created a SportsEngine account**

STEP 1:  Create a SportsEngine account: Click on "Create an Account" next to the Login link at the upper left of this page. Once you compete this step you will receive an activation email from Sport Engine.  It may take a few minutes for the activation email to arrive. Click on the link in the activation email. (Sport Engine is the company that hosts our website)

STEP 2:  Register and Pay Membership FEE: Once you have successfully created a Sport Engine account, click on the long blue banner above to sign up for LATA membership and leagues. 

You will then be able to sign up for an LATA membership, leagues, challenge ladder and pay with your VISA, MasterCard or Discover.

 Once your membership has been reviewed and approved, you'll have access to the website.   

WHAT ARE THE 2023 LATA ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP COSTS?

• LATA Memberships are based on Calendar Year.
• You must register for 2023 LATA Membership to stay active
• Calendar Year 2023 Membership Fee (1/1/23-12/31/23):  $35
• 1/2 Year 2023 Membership Fee (7/1/23-12/3123):  $25

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH MY LATA MEMBERSHIP?

• Added to Sub List for all Tennis Leagues!
• Challenge Ladder - including all Challenge Ladder tournaments!
• Access to our LATA website, the hub for all membership directories, activities and registrations!
• Many planned social activities, functions and gatherings, such as a pool party, picnic and year end holiday party!
• Newsletters, social media and communications of all LATA related activities, results, member profiles and more!

WHAT ARE THE ADDITIONAL COSTS?

• Tennis Leagues: Prices vary by league, format and location
• Tournaments: Inter/national and Club tournaments planned throughout the year, prices vary
• Cups: Each Cup will set a 'tryout' fee and if selected, a final 'team' fee
• Additional Tennis Activities:  Various activities including drills, clinics, social drop in, will be offered throughout the year
• Social Activities:  Many will be included with your membership, 'special' events may be planned with a fee to cover costs

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP DETAILS:

• LATA Memberships are based on Calendar Year.
• You must register for 2023 LATA Membership to stay active
• If you want to play a league, join membership first, go back to join the League(s) of your choice.
• Subbing for all leagues and Challenge Ladder are FREE, included with your 2023 membership.  You will have the option to 'Opt In/Out' on the Membership Registration page.

TENNIS LEAGUES:

• As Conditions Allow--We are safely planning a full slate of monthly and year-round tennis, new league formats, new locations, days and times.ladders, clinics, drills, inter-club and national tournaments, social events and more.
• Any questions, contact League Director at leaguetennis@lataweb.com

RANKING DAY:

• Our initial new Member Ranking Day happens early January, with additional ranking days/times scheduled throughout the year.  All members are required to have a ranking to play in leagues, ladder and inter-club tournaments.

CHALLENGE LADDER:

• A full year of Challenge Ladders and Ladder Tournaments are planned

TOURNAMENTS:

• Many tournaments are planned, including inter-club, national and social.

CUPS:

• A full slate of 'CUPS', organized team events for all levels, offer club tournaments competing against other West Coast Clubs.
• Tryouts typically begin spring/summer.  Tournament 'host cities' rotate annually, summer/fall.
• Costs vary per Cup and tournament.
